I would like to order your new book on Riverside, but not on the computer. If I call can I order it over the telephone and do you take Visa?
If not and I mail you a check, what would be the total cost ... ? Thank you, Bob J.
[Yes either way: we do take both Visa and Mastercard orders over the phone, and frequently have checks mailed to us.]

Hi Pete and Lorna, I'm really looking forward to reading my new Riverside book! I was only there once, in 1986, but got to drive a Swift Formula Ford in practice for an SCCA Regional and was impressed at what a challenging track it was to race on! My impressions of the place from watching races there on TV for so many years were not even close to reality! I was a "Laguna Seca Guy" growing up here, two hours from Monterey and considered Riverside a "rival" track, but I sure hated to see her die--And I still miss the place all these years later. — Roger L.
It was raining this morning and I didn’t want to go out. But I remembered I have to go check my mail because I was expecting the Book. I went out in the rain ... Pete, thank you for bringing back the memory of Riverside. My first race there was 1972 and was back many times for the never ending Last Race. A lot of walking from the pits thru the tunnel to the turns because I didn’t want to lose my parking spot. The track was always dusty. Then I lost a lot of time watching the race and taking pictures. Watching the cars going thru the esses, walking up to turn 6, coming thru 7 and 7A, going pass the Champion Bridge, turn 9 banking…. Toyota had a Celebrity Race there. That was the only time I watched Rodger Ward, Sam Hanks, Johnny Parsons racing on the track. ... Frank Arcieco Sr. was caught one time for using my pass going thru a gate. ... I even drove my fwd Cadillac Eldorado to help drying the track. The fans up in turn 6 were cheering every time I drove by. I can’t wait to go thru the Book. Thanks again Pete. — Albert W.
Hi Pete, my good friend and I attended races at RIR from the early 60's to the last Cup race in the 80's. So so many memories. Hated to see it go. So much character. Yes please sign both! One book is for my friend. My friends name is Mark too! Sign both for me. Thanks — Mark
The book was waiting for me when I returned last night. You kept me from getting a good night’s sleep as I scrolled (ever so slowly) thru it. Great book. Congratulations. — John H.
fabulous job on the RIVERSIDE book Pete. read it all in one sitting. — Robin M.
Pete, I really enjoyed the Riverside Raceway book. You have really brought back a lot of memories. Of course the heat, the cold, the wind, dust made camping miserable. But waking up to the sound of a big block Chevy as alarm clock made up for all of it. Thanks for chronicling this track which was such a part of a lot of our younger years. — Mike M
have no doubts about my enjoyment of the book! I grew up out at RIR (1966 to 1970) while my dad was a fire marshal out on turn nine.
Many fond memories of the place. Thanks again for producing this book and keep it up! Love your stuff! — Phil M
Thanks man — David H.
